Meet Dosign Academy

Delivering high quality training courses and technical programmes should go without saying. As an engineering professional, you should be able to expect more from us. We are not here simply to help you obtain a certificate or diploma. We are here to make a meaningful contribution to your technical and personal development.

We do this with a genuine commitment to engineering and technology, and with a professional team of experienced, dedicated trainers and lecturers.

Well organised

Training courses and programmes at Dosign Academy are well organised. You attend your classes at our locations in Rotterdam and Tilburg, or at our practical training facility in Schiedam. We provide the course materials, facilities, parking, food and drinks.

We also deliberately keep our groups small: twelve participants for training courses and fifteen for full programmes. That allows us to keep the learning environment exactly as we believe it should be: personal, focused and practical.

The same applies to the way you interact with the Dosign Academy team. We value short, direct and personal lines of communication. Do you have a question? You are always welcome to step into our office.

Technical practice is at the heart of what we do

Technical practice is at the heart of what we do and forms the foundation of what we offer. We bring in depth knowledge, years of experience and a clear understanding of the challenges you face in daily technical practice. You can come to us for technical programmes in areas such as piping, instrumentation and industrial automation. We also offer advanced technical modules, including technical project management, offshore engineering, ATEX and AutoCAD 2D. For companies and organisations, we develop tailored technical training programmes built around their specific technical context.

Learning before teaching

Our commitment to technology and technical practice is reflected not only in what we offer, but also in the way we deliver our training courses and programmes. For us, learning comes before teaching. We see little value in lessons that simply follow the textbook word for word. What matters is that you engage actively with the course material and enter into dialogue with your trainer or lecturer and your fellow participants. We continuously adapt our lessons to support that.

Open to your needs and input

The quality of what we offer depends on the people who deliver our training courses and programmes. That is why we are proud of our highly qualified trainers and lecturers, who are technically competent and keen to share their expertise with you. At the same time, they are open to your needs and input. Would you like to discuss your own projects or case studies? Explore a specific topic in more depth? Or move through certain course material more quickly? Please raise this during the course.

Practical and engaging lessons

Our training courses and programmes combine theoretical and practical sessions. Wherever possible, these sessions are linked to your own professional practice, so that you can apply what you learn directly in your work. We also incorporate new requirements from industry and the wider technical field. This keeps our training courses and programmes up to date.
