This Industrial Automation programme is designed for professionals who want to broaden or deepen their knowledge and skills in industrial automation. Over two years, you will study control technology, programming, electrical engineering, SCADA, DCS systems and more.

The programme combines theory and practice, enabling you to apply the concepts you learn directly in your work.

Who is this Industrial Automation programme designed for?

This programme is designed for technical professionals at higher professional education level who want to deepen their career in industrial automation. Whether you are already working as an engineer, technician or project manager, this programme helps you further develop towards the role of Industrial Automation Engineer. It is also suitable for professionals who want to broaden their knowledge across the wider field of automation.

The fee and duration of the programme

Practical information

  • The first year consists of 18 lessons, delivered both on-site and online.
  • The second year consists of 15 lessons, delivered both on-site and online.

In addition, during the first year, you will spend 4 practical lessons working on PLC programming.

Every two weeks, you attend a 4-hour evening lesson, alternating between Dosign Academy in Rotterdam and online sessions. This means you travel to Rotterdam approximately once a month. Lessons take place from 17:30 to 22:00.

The total programme fee is €3,685 excluding VAT per year. In addition to the lessons, the fee includes study materials, practice tests, evening meals during on-site lessons, coffee and tea, certificates and the diploma. Resits are available at €200 excluding VAT.

After completing each year, you receive a certificate. After completing the full programme, you receive a diploma.
