Who is this programme designed for?
The Piping Design & Engineering programme is designed for mechanical engineers and aspiring engineers who want to specialise in the process industry. Whether you are a starting engineer or already have experience in industry, this programme gives you the depth you need to progress towards the role of piping engineer.
Practical information
The programme runs for 2 calendar years and consists of 4 blocks. Each block consists of 9 theory lessons and 1 exam. In each block, we also organise an exclusive company visit, giving participants a unique behind the scenes look at renowned companies.
Every 2 weeks, you attend an evening lesson of 4 hours. Half of the lessons take place online and the other half take place physically at a Dosign Academy location. This means you only need to travel to the location once a month. Lessons run from 17:30 to 22:00.
The total programme fee is €3,478 excluding VAT per year. In addition to the lessons, this includes study materials, practice exams, certificates and the diploma. Exam resits are possible at €200 excluding VAT.
After each completed block, you receive a certificate. After completing the full programme, you receive a diploma.
The language of instruction for this programme in Rotterdam will be English this year. In Bergen op Zoom, Antwerp and Limburg, the language of instruction is Dutch. The programme is delivered by Dutch lecturers, so any questions or points of uncertainty can always be discussed in Dutch. All materials, including books, exams and assignments, are available in both Dutch and English, allowing participants to choose the preferred version.
