Privacy Statement of Dosign Academy

Introduction

This privacy statement explains how Dosign Academy handles personal data. Dosign Academy processes personal data relating to various groups, including participants, prospective participants, business relations, suppliers, trainers and other parties involved.

We process personal data carefully, securely and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

  1. Personal data processed by Dosign Academy relating to participants, prospective participants and interested parties

Dosign Academy processes personal data in order to properly carry out its training activities. This includes open programmes, company training courses, bespoke training pathways, information requests, trial lesson evenings, open days and other training related activities.

The basic principle is that you provide your data to Dosign Academy yourself and voluntarily. We use this data only for the purpose for which you have provided it to us, unless another legal basis applies.

Dosign Academy processes personal data for the following purposes:

a. to comply with applicable laws and regulations;

b. to process your request, enrolment or participation in a programme, training course, trial lesson, information evening or other event;

c. to contact you about your training request, interest, participation, planning, location, course materials, exams, certificates or other practical matters;

d. to make agreements with you or your employer about participation in a programme or training course and to perform those agreements;

e. to maintain participant records, financial records and training administration;

f. to record your progress, attendance, assessments, results, resits and certification, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the programme or training course;

g. to inform you about our programmes, training courses, events, subject specific information and other activities of Dosign Academy, for example by email, newsletters, campaigns or personal follow up;

h. to generate management information, carry out market analyses, conduct internal checks and improve the quality of our services;

i. where necessary, to maintain contact with trainers, exam supervisors, employers, suppliers or other parties involved in the delivery of the programme or training course.

You make your data available when, for example, you complete a form on our website, enrol in a programme or event, contact us by telephone or email, or provide information to us in another way.

Dosign Academy processes, among other things, the following data: name, address, place of residence, email address, telephone number, job title, employer, training details, participation details, attendance details, assessment results, certificate details, invoice details and other data necessary for the performance of our services.

Dosign Academy may share your personal data with parties involved in the performance of our services. This may include trainers, examination bodies, training locations, administrative service providers, IT suppliers, audit bodies, government authorities or other parties we engage for specific activities. We make appropriate arrangements regarding security and confidentiality with parties that process personal data on our behalf.

Dosign Academy only provides your data to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of our services, where this is required by law, where we are entitled to do so under applicable laws and regulations, or where you have given your consent.

Dosign Academy does not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected, unless we are required by laws and regulations to retain the data for a longer period.

  1. Personal data processed by Dosign Academy relating to employees or representatives of clients, suppliers and other business relations

Dosign Academy also processes personal data relating to contact persons at clients, prospective clients, suppliers, trainers, cooperation partners and other business relations.

We use this personal data for the following purposes:

a. to enable you to use our services or to enable us to use your services;

b. to enter into and maintain a business relationship with you or your organisation;

c. to agree on and perform assignments, quotations, agreements, training courses and training arrangements;

d. to maintain contact with you about current or potential cooperation;

e. to inform you about our programmes, training courses, events, subject specific information and other activities of Dosign Academy;

f. to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Dosign Academy processes, among other things, the following data: business contact details, name, job title, organisation, business address, email address, telephone number, relationship details, correspondence details and data necessary for the performance of the business relationship.

Dosign Academy may share personal data relating to business relations with parties where this is necessary for the performance of our services. This may include trainers, suppliers, administrative service providers, IT suppliers, audit bodies, government authorities or other parties we engage for specific activities.

In addition, Dosign Academy may provide data where it is required or entitled to do so under applicable laws and regulations, a court order or a judicial decision, or where you have given your consent.

Dosign Academy does not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected, unless we are required by laws and regulations to retain the data for a longer period.

Dosign Academy takes appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, unlawful processing or other unwanted use.
