The NEN 3140 course focuses on safe working with low voltage installations in accordance with the NEN 3140 standard. During the training course, you learn which risks electricity brings, how to work safely and which responsibilities belong to your role. The course is available in two variants: NEN 3140 VOP, sufficiently instructed person, and NEN 3140 VP, qualified person. This means the training course always matches your work and responsibilities within the organisation.
After completing the course, you understand:

- How to recognise and manage risks in practice

NEN 3140 VOP, 1 half day session
- Laws and regulations relating to NEN 3140
- Electrical hazards and the importance of safe working
- Working methods and procedures, including work permits
- Roles and responsibilities according to NEN 3140
- Resetting thermal protection devices
- Switching installation circuit breakers back on
- Carrying out a task risk analysis at your own workplace
- Safely entering a Motor Control Centre, MCC room
NEN 3140 VP adds the following, 1 additional half day session
- Inspecting machines according to NEN 3140
- One to one replacement of an electric motor
- Inspecting this motor according to NEN 3140

The VOP training is suitable for people who work under supervision, while the VP training is intended for qualified people who independently carry out electrical work.
