A programme worth the journey

My manager encouraged me to join the programme at Dosign Academy, and I am very glad I followed that advice. Throughout the programme, I regularly travelled from Haarlem to Rotterdam. It was quite a distance, but it was definitely worth the journey.

What immediately stood out to me was how comprehensive and well-structured the course material was. The programme started with the fundamentals before gradually exploring more detailed technical and engineering topics. This allowed me to build my knowledge step by step and develop a stronger understanding of the field.

From theory to design practice

What mattered most to me was being able to apply what I learned directly in my work. The lessons helped me with various design tasks, including working with isometric drawings. The technical knowledge I gained during the programme also proved very valuable during job interviews.

Learning beyond the classroom

The company visits were among the most interesting parts of the programme. Visiting different locations gave me a better understanding of how the theory is applied in practice. The visits provided particularly valuable practical insight into the design of pipe supports and their application in real-world installations.

I look back on the programme very positively. Everything was well organised, the content was comprehensive, and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Despite the distance between Haarlem and Rotterdam, I would make the same decision again.

I would definitely recommend the programme to anyone who wants to expand their technical knowledge and apply it directly in their work.
