Do you work on designing or assessing installations in potentially explosive atmospheres? Then ATEX knowledge is essential. Dosign Academy’s ATEX for Technical Design training course, Ex Units 001, 003 and 009, has been developed for engineers and designers who design explosion-protected installations in accordance with applicable European and international standards. You will learn how to apply Ex equipment correctly in designs according to IEC standards. Topics include applicable legislation and regulations, selecting types of protection, IP protection, clearances, cable entries and component selection in drawings and diagrams.

To ensure optimal learning outcomes, the course is limited to the parts that are relevant to the work of the target audience.
The ATEX for Technical Design training course is intended for engineers and technicians involved in designing, assessing or documenting explosion-protected installations. This includes hardware engineers, E&I engineers, draftspeople and project engineers working in the process industry who are responsible for ATEX-compliant designs.
The Explosion Safety module lasts 2 days. Course materials and a certificate of participation are included. The fee is €1,207 per person, excluding VAT.
